Greetings once again from The Bond family. We have decided to turn our barn also known as The Big Red Barn. Where you can spend a little time in a home away from home. We purchased the property in 2017 with the big red barn already being for the most part set up. With a few minor changes needing to take place, We took it upon ourselves and got to work. Finishing up the Living room with a theatre and some hardwood and carpet the ending was near. With some logistical concerns still needing to be addressed Jerry and Abby set down and started making calls to the necessary agencies and found that their goals could soon be a reality. 


The Dog House is a country splendor with so much to do and see on this six acre property. The Dog House has a kitchen with a large dining room, cedar lined closet, and newly remodeled living room which opens up to the upper level with two master suits and a family room. We have balconies off both master suits. Everyone visiting will love the thirty four by eight cover porch to sit and relax on. The Big Red Barn comes with access to a fully stocked pond, a rifle range, camp ground, and tons of firewood.


The Big Red Barn is thirty seven miles or about an hour from Waterloo, Iowa, sixty three miles or about an hour and fifteen minutes from Cedar Rapids, Iowa and fifty six miles or about an hour from Charles City, Iowa. The closest town is seven miles or about ten minutes away with easy access to the closest fareway. Oelwein, Iowa has many places to sit down and eat, a couple bars, mechanics shop, hardware stores, and several gas stations.


BRING YOUR PETS and keep them in a nice newly constructed dog kennel that includes heat and both indoor and outdoor runs.
